Beaches & Bays

These tropical islands are home to some of the most stunning beaches in Thailand and possibly all of Southeast Asia. If you are a beach lover, you have come to the right place and will not be disappointed.

The famous Maya Bay, where the movie The Beach was filmed, recently reopened to the public in 2021. We hope it remains open and ask that visitors respect and protect the ecosystem.

Additionally, there are other picturesque locations to explore and enjoy, such as Moo Dee Beach (quiet with azure blue waters, palm trees, and slightly crowded in the afternoon for two hours), Long Beach (suitable for snorkeling and easily accessible with its touristy vibe), Monkey Beach (home to monkeys, so please do not feed them, and perfect for Instagram-worthy photos; accessible by boat or kayak), and Rantee Beach (small and peaceful with palm trees, and slightly crowded for two hours in the afternoon).

More Activities

Did you know that Koh Phi Phi offers more than just beautiful beaches and famous bays? You can snorkel with small sharks, hike up to several viewpoints, and go on diving tours. To explore the island on your own, you can rent a kayak at Loh Dalum Beach and paddle to Monkey Beach or rent a snorkel and explore the underwater world. You can even swim to Shark Point where you may see black-tip sharks and turtles.

For those who prefer hiking, the ascent to viewpoint No. 1 is recommended. Even though it includes many stairs and can be challenging in the heat, the private viewpoint at the top is worth it. You can also follow the path to Viewpoint No. 2, which is great for watching sunsets, or hike to Viewpoint No. 3 for even better views of the island.

If you’re a diver, there are many tours available, including the Wreck Diver King Tour which visits a shipwreck and other fantastic dive spots. You can even get your diving license or take an introductory course.
