Welcome to Pattaya, the infamous nightlife hotspot known for its unique parties and a wide variety of activities. From sunrise to sunset, this vibrant coastal city feels like a big amusement park filled with entertaining attractions. After dark, the action shifts to the city center streets where you can find your favorite nightlife. Whether you want to have a few beers or go full-on party mode, Pattaya caters to everyone. Enjoy the craziest city in Thailand and create unforgettable travel memories.
Not yet sure where to travel after Pattaya?
Golden beaches, a fresh ocean breeze, and sunshine falling through palm leaves on your face – Pattaya offers all of these. If you need a break between activities, shows, or nights out, you can head to one of the beaches in Pattaya. Although they may not be the most beautiful in Thailand, they are perfect for a quick tan or a short stay.
If you prefer a rather crowded but lively atmosphere, Pattaya Beach is the place to go. If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, head to Wongamat Beach, which is larger and has plenty of restaurants. Bamboo Beach is a smaller beach with clean water, while Jomtien Beach is larger and calmer and offers water sports activities.
If you’re not content with just lounging on the beach, you can visit one of Pattaya’s two water parks, which are fun and full of action. Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park is the biggest and by far the most creative. If you are traveling with kids, this is the place to go. Ramayana Water Park is slightly smaller but still has a great variety of water slides.
Next to all the parties and activities, Pattaya also offers a handful of cultural and natural sights. Visit The Sanctuary of Truth, a wooden temple located in the north. See the Big Buddha at Wat Phra Yai Temple or climb up to the mountain temple Wat Kao Prabat and enjoy breathtaking views.
If you need a break from the city and want to get some fresh air amidst flowers and trees, you can visit Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It is the biggest botanical garden in Southeast Asia, so it’s best to rent a bike and make a day trip out of it. Be aware that they offer attractions like riding elephants and taking pictures with tigers, but we do not recommend any of them due to the conditions they keep their animals in!
Imagine yourself in a bustling coastal city, where the scent of the ocean wafts through the air and the sun sets behind swaying palm trees in the distance. As the city comes alive after sunset, people start flocking to the streets, looking for beach bars, pubs, or clubs, and so do you. Grab a drink and kick off an unforgettable night.
If you’re not sure where you want to party, head to the famous Walking Street and explore the different bars and clubs until you find the one that suits you. You can also check out the several beach bars along Beach Road, offering everything from beachfront drinks to pool parties.
For shopping enthusiasts, the Night Bazaar of Pattaya is a must-visit. You can grab a drink and stroll around while browsing various vendors. Don’t forget to check out the famous Foam Parties at Hard Rock Café, an unforgettable event. Interested in shows? Visit Cabaret Show Kaan, a fun nighttime activity featuring fascinating acrobatics and acts, and enjoy some well-done drinks while you’re at it.
If you’re looking to escape the sun or rain and have some fun indoors in Pattaya, there are plenty of options available to you.
Visit the Royal Garden Plaza Mall, where you’ll find the famous „Ripley’s Believe it or Not“ museum. This museum is not just for displaying strange objects but also offers a range of experiences such as the „Infinity Mirror Maze“, the „Vault Lazer Maze“, the „Haunted Adventure“, the „Scream in the Dark Horror House“, and the „Louis Tussaud’s Wax Figure Cabinet“. All of these attractions are located on the top floor of the mall.
Another great option is the Central Festival Mall, which is Pattaya’s biggest and most famous mall. This mall has a wide variety of shopping options, a large food court, and a 4D movie theater on the 6th floor. If you’re interested in art, you can visit the „Art in Paradise 4D Museum“ or the „Amazing Art Pattaya 4D Museum“. Both of these interactive museums are perfect for taking funny pictures, but we recommend the „Art in Paradise 4D Museum“ more than the other. However, if you’re into cool artwork, it might be worth checking out both.
If you’re not interested in indoor sports, museums, or art, you can also visit a show and experience some fascinating stories and actors. The KAAN Show at the Showtheater D’Luck is a modern hybrid of live-action and 4D cinema, inspired by classic Thai literature. We recommend the KAAN Show over the Illusion Hall Tuxedo Magic Show, which features some old-fashioned magic tricks and is more suitable for kids.
